The number 25 O was purchased via DVLA number plate auction. The buyer, John Collins who is a Ferrari dealer and deals in some of the worlds most expensive Ferraris, including the ultimate "250 GTO".
At auction, a 1962 GTO sold for over $29 million in 2014, but Sotheby's are also putting another example under the hammer on August 24/25 in California.
This Ferrari is estimated to raise a record-breaking $35million - and could also pair perfectly with the matching number plate that will be sold in London on September 5th.
